Come dance the night away at Flamencura! Put your flamenco skills to work with Sevillanas or Bulerias and enjoy dance performances by students and members of A’lante Flamenco! Meet and mingle with your fellow flamencas, enjoy some chisme in between dances, and wear your flamenco finery if you feel like it!
We’ve invited musicians from A’lante Flamenco to come play for us so we can dance Sevillanas, improvise a pataita por bulerias, try out some rumba steps, and encourage our Flamencura Family to show off what they’ve learned in class. This will be a true Fiesta Flamenca, Spanish-style event–wear shoes you can dance in, BYOB, or try my sangria while it lasts! Bring snacks to share if you feel compelled.
