Castanet Technique and choreography for Intermediate and Advanced-level flamenco dancers with previous experience with Castanets. This session we will be focusing on improving our technique while also preparing a short choreography suitable for performance.
This class may be attended in person (masks optional) or online via Zoom.
Intro to Castanets Workshop
Sundays 12:30pm-1:30pm
Learn all the basics of how to play castanets while dancing! From technique and musicality in playing to coordinating playing while dancing, Instructor Sofia Hurtado covers it all with patience and humor. This Intro Workshop class is appropriate for dancers of Advanced Beginner level and above. Castanets will be available for purchase ($56 while supplies last) or you can bring your own!
